As a 3PL, FWF has the unique ability to offer less than truckload (LTL) and full truckload (TL) shipping, intermodal, drayage, domestic and international ground/air freight services to our clients. As the Office Manager, you will be in charge of keeping the FWF corporate office running efficiently. You will create and maintain a well-organized work environment, ensuring high levels of employee and management synergies, effectiveness, communication, and safety. 

 

Day-to-Day Operations 

  • Serve as the point person for duties that include maintenance, supply and equipment inventory, and general errands 

  • Communicate any system updates to the office 

  • Organize the office layout and order materials as needed 

  • Ensure a well-maintained office and arrange necessary repairs 

  • Coordinate with Human Resources on planning for all new classes 

  • Partner with Human Resources to update and maintain office policies as necessary 

  • Organize office operations and procedures 

  • New vendor/software screening 

  • Troubleshoot internal IT questions and coordinate resolution with outside IT vendors when necessary 

  • Manage contract and price negotiations with vendors and service providers 

  • Provide general support to visitors 

  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires 

  • Address employees’ queries regarding office management issues such as stationery, hardware, and travel arrangements 

  • Communicate with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering, and security services 

  • Discover, research, and implement operating processes to ensure optimal efficiencies
